Track Representative:

Leyla Duru Gürsan
d.gursan@students.uu.nl
Hi! My name is Leyla Duru Gürsan (she/her) I’m a 5th semester student and will be your Methods and Statistics track representative this year. I study Psychology and Linguistics (two majors that require a LOT of statistics) and the statistics courses at UCU have saved my life as someone who needs to understand how we get the results we do and how we make sense of them. This track will also aid you majorly in your research endavours and eventually in a master program you will apply to. (This is also the reason everybody has to sit through RIP) As a social sciences student with a strangely intimate involvement with mathematics I would love to hear your questions, concerns or recommendations about this track and even help out when I can, and even if I can’t at least we will be frustrated together!
